The Newberg High School Drama Club has been invited to perform in Edinburgh, Scotland in August 2013 and they seek help in raising awareness & funding via sponsorship, promotion and/or donations to get the students over there! It is expensive, averaging $6,000 per student.
This is a great honor and opportunity for these students! If you would like to become a sponsor, please contact Linda Potter at 503-550-2483 or Bonnie Edghill at 503-899-7425. Sponsors can help with services, promotions, donations for an upcoming auction or cash donations, all of which are tax-deductible. Our Story
Newberg students presented how they produce the Shakespeare plays to a national conference.
We were then nominated to apply to the American High School Theatre Fringe Festival. We were selected to be one of 15-20 high schools from all over the U.S. and Canada to perform at the Edinburgh Festival – the largest arts festival in the world. We are honored to represent the U.S. at this auspicious event. What is AHSTF?
In 1994, the American High School Theatre Festival was developed with the help of high school and college drama professionals. Our festival is designed to complement high school drama programs and allow our nation’s best drama students to showcase their skills within an international forum. Questions?
